Senior Marketing Specialist Parallon,

an HCA Company 

I lead the strategy and execution of digital marketing campaigns to promote the brand, our service lines, events and tradeshows, and thought leadership content to ultimately drive lead generation and nurture client engagement. 

 

I manage the strategy and content planning for our organic channels, including email marketing, SEO, website analytics, and social media. I also partner with a 3rd party media agency to build and refine account-based marketing campaigns, paid search, paid social, and display advertising programs. ​

 

I own strategic planning, implementation, and reporting across digital channels for our corporate marketing campaigns. I design goals, execute tactics, and measure ROI on business outcomes.

 

I support the business development team for their B2B sales through account-based marketing, digital advertising, and creating other resources such as e-books, sales sheets, presentation decks and responding to RFPs.

Digital Marketing Specialist & Analyst at Zeta Global 

I play a key role in our global growth marketing team to bring the holistic Zeta brand and business to market with consistent positioning while elevating key Zeta differentiators in a competitive industry. Account Manager at Zeta Global 

I plan, develop, and execute our clients’ email and SMS marketing initiatives. My clients are Sam’s Club, Sprint, Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile, and Assurance Wireless. I strive to be a strategic partner by identifying opportunities to design and implement tactics that will help reach their goals.

 

From asset delivery to the go-live date, I follow projects through to completion. I serve as a liaison to our internal teams to keep multiple complex projects on track by coordinating with software engineers, front-end and back-end developers, graphic designers, and campaign managers.

 

I use tools, such as SQL, to query databases for optimal segments containing specific demographic criteria that our clients should target in their eMarketing campaigns. I also use multiple software programs to track projects, revenue, and develop complex reports. I participate in quarterly business reviews where I work with my teammates to analyze reports and identify trends and opportunities for my clients.

Program Assistant for Continuing and Professional Development at West Virginia University 

While working at West Virginia University, I supported the public relations department by managing social media, writing and distributing press releases, conducting research, and I was responsible for creating marketing emails. I also composed public relations and marketing strategy plans to promote our class offerings with evaluation methods. Additionally, I maintained the website and updated it with new course offerings, and I assisted the staff with registering students and keeping accounting records.

Intern for Grayling Public Relations Agency

I wrote over 200 pieces of content for a digital and social media campaign for client, Hilton Hotels Europe. I also composed media briefs for financial clients, compiled media lists, created an editorial calendar for a university, and completed other various projects for my supervisor. I was assigned to the Western Union, Raymond James, and Hilton Hotels Europe accounts, among others. I also gained political perspective by living in London during the Brexit campaign and election. 

Intern for Boston Medical Center  

I worked in the office of development at the 496-bed academic medical center in Boston, Massachusetts. As the Development Intern, I learned how to coordinate a multi-million dollar fundraiser by being a part of the team of staff members who planned the annual BMC Gala. I was in charge of organizing hundreds of items for the silent auction, and I utilized cutting edge software, Greater Giving, to enable mobile bidding for the event. I also wrote correspondence asking for donations or thanking donors. 

Teacher's Assistant at Boston University for "COM 101: Introduction to Communication"

Prepared lesson plans, met one-on-one with students during office hours, and kept students accountable. I also graded every assignment including tests, essays, homework, and final exams. I was responsible for a class of 20 college students, and the curriculum covered the different careers that the field of communication has to offer, as well as relevant terminology.

COLLEGE WORK EXPERIENCE

Intern for U.S. Representative Sephen Palazzo

The position was located in Washington, D.C. and my duties included responding to concerns of constituents by researching key issues and composing official correspondence. I worked with the communication department on reporting and analytics. I also welcomed visiting constituents and gave them tours of the U.S. Capitol building. 

Intern for Godwin Group Public Relations Agency 

When working for the Godwin Group Public Relations Agency, I specifically helped with their client, The International Ballet Competition. I wrote and distributed press releases by utilizing Cision Software. I also managed media relations throughout the event by facilitating interviews between the competitors and the media, and providing the resources for reporters before, during, and after the competition performances each night. I composed over 100 news releases and used AP style in this role. 

Writer for The Reflector

The Reflector is the official student publication at Mississippi State University. I worked collaboratively with Life Section staff to complete work quickly and on deadline. I wrote articles, worked with my editor to revise my work, and saw my finished pieces published in the biweekly student paper. 

Intern at the Social Science Research Center 

The SSRC is located at Mississippi State University's Research Park. In this position I designed printed materials using InDesign and Illustrator, and I managed the organization's Facebook account.

Intern for the College of Arts and Sciences

At Mississippi State University I interned for the CAS under the Director of Public Relations. I sent out weekly emails, wrote articles for the semiannual magazine, managed social media accounts using Hootsuite, and assisted with web design and content for the website's wireframe.
